Artisanal Note: As a 100% handcrafted premium product, each Cielito is one-of-a-kind. Minor variations in the gourd’s shape, the natural tone of the rawhide, and the hand-chiselled metalwork are not defects, but the authentic DNA of Argentine craftsmanship.

Make it part of your ritual

CURE: Fill the gourd with damp, used yerba for 24 hours before your first use to seal the natural pores of the fruit.
CLEAN: Rinse ONLY the inside of the gourd. Never submerge the mate or let water run over the exterior.
DRY: Always dry UPRIGHT in a well-ventilated area. Never leave it upside down, as moisture needs to escape.
RAWHIDE LEATHER: Authentic rawhide is natural and porous. Keep the exterior dry to prevent water rings. Over time, it will naturally develop a slightly darker, beautiful patina—this is the true mark of a traditional mate.
METALWORK: Buff the alpaca rim and the golden bronze crown gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep them shining. Avoid abrasive sponges that could scratch the crown.
